I Hate the Gun...

I am devastated beyond believe.
I have yet to feel any relieve.
I am hating the gun -hate it so much, I really do!
It takes the souls of innocent lives - including all, including you.
I hate the gun - I really do!
The gun knows no one - it never asks who.
I have every right to hate the gun,
It's all the murderers whom I shun.
Do you see what I'm getting at?!
Please, enough with the chit-chat.
The gun is what took the lives of my brothers,
not only they but so many others.
Victims of war and crime cry - can you not hear?!
Their sobs and sighs - they're all too near.
Guns as I see are weapons of mass destruction,
So many nations it has destroyed - it allowed them no construction.
For you, for I, for all I dream of peace,
and for the souls lost, an abundance of ease.
