Scholars of life

Like herds they marched

Across the hall

Dressed in uniforms

They sat

Locked their eyes

With looks of mistrust

Not knowing the outcome

Eat them alive

They talked

Wisdom

Captives

But they possessed free souls

Tranquility of the heart

The serene joy of a mind at ease

They were scholars of life

They were

Encyclopedia plus dictionary talking

And the heart and soul of a scholarly written book

They gave

my life a new meaning

a stronger purpose

hope to prevail against all obstacles

and most of all the patience to understand the seeds of patience reap sweeter fruits

Living a life with a real cause

a heart to rebel

and all thanks to He who has created me and them

Alhamdulilah
