April Poems: Public Parking

On my way downtown, I see signs that read public parking

I smile, and park in one of it safely, all I do is pay the amount

Small amount that takes care of everything, you can feel that it's filled with peace

I wonder what could have made possible, pause and shake my head

Of course it's the system, call it Dem or Rep, to me it's laws are made to be broken

You see they even have their own vehicles and employee they call it law enforcement

Make a mistake, and your busted, busted with fat ticket that teaches you a lesson

Back home, it was different story, yes I spell it right

They say it was check-point, and I say it was pay to save your life

They agree with me, and I raise the debate even higher

But I couldn't find the solution to it, guys what is the difference between Public Parking And Check-Point?

I witnessed both, and choose Public Parking having peace in my mind

Public Parking!
