Dreamer

Let me take you on a journey, I’m living in this cloud
Take my hand; I take you higher, at the speed of sound
The sunset’s colour, what a flavour, sweeter than a peach
Well girl, I’m a dreamer, emotions lead me to the beach
The roar of the sea, when the surf is high
Singing to you and me
There is no limit reaching for the sky

If we try
We turn into certainty, clear our mind through wondering why
If we try
Colourful serenity, clear our way through a white lie
If we try
Go on for ever, a dreamer’s nightmare, to kiss his love goodbye
If we try

Love is in the race
At walking pace
Joy gave me wings
A dreamer has two strings
To his bow
You my love my word my vow

If we try
Go on for ever, a dreamer’s dream, to kiss her beautiful sight
If we try
Colourful serenity, a sigh of relief, so dry your teary eye
If we try
We turn into certainty, clear your mind there is no need to cry
If we try

Let me take you to the Serengeti, where the horizon paints endlessly
Take my hand; I need someone, to hold my loneliness - so lonely
Let’s climb together the peak of Mount Kilimanjaro, peaceful and calm
The sun turns further west sets to the ground, Good night Dar es Salaam
Well girl, I’m a dreamer, counting the stars nestled in the night sky
You gave me wings, lifting up our hearts, I believed I could fly
Singing to you and me
There is no limit reaching for the sky
