April 7: The Gun That Failed Me

At the age of six

I saw all the horror

That swiped the city

Sending Thousands to grave

Oodles to hospital evenly

Yes, I was one of them

Caused by the gun that failed me

Improvised by the next door captain

I still remember his name Magafe

He was the father of the gun,
that killed my buddy

How could I forget the buddy that taught me
the neighborhood

Whenever I think about this very friend!
I remember

The gun that failed me dearly,
the gun that forced me to flee

Life would never be the same, but people change

I saw Magafe, he was at the event,
yes the take the pen event

I couldn't believe it, I didn't embarrass him
in front of the participants

After the event I went up to him and
said it's never too late to stand against the gun that failed me

He couldn't tell who I'm

He said I wish I could do better

I said believe me you are now, he said what do you mean?

I said for the first time I see my buddy in you

He said my very best field failed me,
I said yes the gun that failed me

Now he lives next door to me, and yes he's my buddy
but old buddy

He knows everything about the gun that failed us, he says with pen you can fight anything

I agree with him and nick named him Noolosha Ayatiinka(future life) we discuss about life and the gun

that failed me.
