Queen

Queen.
Unseen.
There is something about you that I can’t describe
It’s not the fact that you don’t distinguish between any tribe
Not the fact that you see me, through me
And my façade for my own protection, finally
I can say that I don’t even know you
Your variety - the spectra of light touching the oceans blue

Queen.
Unseen.
Lift your smile I can’t show you a better day
You gained blessings favour in every way
Look and turn around
Do you hear life’s anthem and its unmistakable sound
‘Grace’ defined by every step you take
‘Strength’ like the sound of rain, you keep me awake

Queen.
Unseen.
How to make you smile?
I hope this little poem fulfils your style
What do you expect me to do
There is this chemistry between me and you
I hope you don't take it the wrong way
Never meant to hurt, what I say
Is meant to inspire you and your inner beauty
I guess it’s easy for men to see the ‘cutey’
But I see more in every line
Blessed is the man who calls you 'mine'
See again, I might have gone far
I know you are light years away shining like that star
Up north, your beauty descended from the African east
It’s not hard to see, what I’m trying at least
Is to show you ways and reasons not to lose your smile
If you were a number, you were my favourite to dial
You are inspirational, let me say it once in a while

Queen.
Unseen.
Your shine.
Queen.
Unseen.
She is fine.
Queen.
Unseen.
Your line.
Queen.
Unseen.
She was never mine.
Queen.
Unseen.
