I'm mesmerised

mind is static
they neglect it
hopeless, those fears
endless, those cheers
tears keep running
she keeps stunning
semiconscious
you reflect this
different, dimmed lights
old days, old nights
you remember
thin and slender
you told me so
told me to grow
"surpass your past
so you can last"
"life is lifeless
I'm in a mess"
well patronised
didn't agonise
over her touch
"she's such and such"
who you asked for
and so much more
It's still the same
calling my name
can't hear your voice
leave me your choice
bounce back to start
you hit me hard
holding on to
mine, mostly yours
any meaning
you keep screaming
