What differences does it make
To the tree that has withered away
The hands that water it
Are the same hands that
Destroyed it to begin with...
What differences does it make
To the refugee mother
If the hands that pass out food
Are the same hands that has
Crippled and invaded her country to begin with...
What differences does it make
To you and I
If the hands that claim
To protect our freedom and happiness
Are the same hands
That destruct
Oppress
Cripple
And kill
the rest of the world...
